Kelley Shields Inc. is a licensed and bonded Washington State Corporation that offers general contractor skills in land development, construction management, and deluxe custom housing. Projects range from feasibility studies for planned residential developments to turn-key construction of luxury custom homes and condominiums.


1984 to 1985

Nord & Associates - Consultant

Consultant to Old National Bank, created a development package for a large parcel of view property in Edmonds, Washington.

1980 to 1984

Rancho San Diego Development Co - Vice President of Construction

Rancho San Diego is a 5,000 acre Master Planned Community east of San Diego, CA; a joint venture of Del E. Webb Corp. and Citicorp. Responsibilities included preparation of all land development estimates and budgets, cash flows, and pro formas; development scheduling; coordination of design work by the civil and soils engineers and other project consultants; preparations of the Bid and Contract Documents; bidding and contract negotiation; preparation of job cost control systems; project management and coordination of all subs and consultants during the course of the work.

1978 to 1980

Broadmoor Homes - Director of Project Engineering

Broadmoor Homes is a Division of Genstar Ltd., Canada, and is a major California home builder/developer with offices in San Diego, Irvine, and Walnut Creek. Responsibilities were the same as those listed above for Rancho San Diego, plus assisting the Land Acquisition Department in preparing feasibility analysis on lands considered for purchase.
